Clarence Valley Home Modification and Maintenance Services Inc. can arrange for an Occupational Therapist health professional, skilled in specifying requirements to meet your individual needs. Close consultation and co-operation is maintained between the client, home modification service and the referring occupational therapist. Occupational Therapy assessment will be carried out at no charge. All work performed is carried out by experienced licensed builders in accordance with government agency guidelines and Australian Standards AS1428.1 providing guaranteed workmanship.
OT In-home Senior Safety Assessment
An OT in house senior safety assessment is a consultation determining the strengths and abilities of an individual and assesses risks in their home. The outcome is a plan that reduces risks, promotes safety and independence, and allows one to live safely in their home doing the things they love and need to do.
An OT home safety assessment provides solutions which may include and will not be limited to:
- Assistive devices such as raised beds or chairs, bath shower and toilet grab rails
- Access ramps, handrails and platform lifts
